The Southrop Manor Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band

Are you wondering whether you need a ceilidh band or a barn dance band? Well, they are really the same sort of thing. Ceilidh is the Celtic word and Barn Dance the English or American word for much the same thing. If you want to dance, we supply a caller, who tells you what to do, organises and teaches the dancing, so that anyone can join in and have fun. The line up and style of playing can vary and we will ensure to design the band to suit your tastes and wishes.

The Southrop Manor String Quartet

The magic of the flute, combined with the strength of the strings gives some wonderful options for a wedding, party or corporate event and a breadth of repertoire to suit all tastes, spanning the centuries from baroque through classical to jazz and light music of the present day. Musicians include graduates of the Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music, Birmingham Conservatoire, Oxford University.
