Weddings

The Tithe Barn at Southrop Manor is a particularly distinctive choice for an intimate wedding party. 
Located in the heart of the tiny Cotswold village of Southrop, the Tithe Barn's exceptionally beautiful location, adjacent to the old Manor house and the Saxon church, and overlooking the rolling, lush Gloucestershire countryside, could not be more romantic

On a limited number of occasions in the year, The Tithe Barn's huge open plan space hosts wedding breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as a Champagne reception, and the ceremony itself, in the Balcony Room.  

For a seated wedding banquet, we can take 60 to 80 people, with plenty of room for pre-banquet drinks as well as dancing.  For a standing drinks and canape reception, we can take up to 100 people.

We are licenced for wedding ceremonies, so your whole day can begin, and end at Thyme.  Our five cottages can accommodate up to 18 guests (plus 2 children) and are perfectly placed to host the main wedding party before and after the wedding.  From late 2012, the Manor Farm House will be able to accommodate a further 16 people, in 8 double bedrooms.

Our in-house chefs work closely with you to design delicious menus to your specifications, with an emphasis on seasonality and the local produce of Gloucestershire’s small scale farmers and producers. Our event organiser is on hand to assist with planning every aspect of your event including flowers, photographers, accommodation, gifts, invitation printing, transport, menus, party favours and entertainment.
